Q: What size are the containers?
A: Storage Valet containers are approximately 5’ wide x 8‘ deep and 7’ tall. The interior dimensions are 58” wide x 92” deep x 77” tall. Each easy-entry container accommodates an average room to room and a half of household items up to 2000 pounds.
Q: How are the containers constructed?
A: Our containers are made of pressure-treated 3/4" plywood. They provide a very stable, breathable, and chemical-free environment for your belongings. Each container is also covered with an attractive, durable, weather-resistant cover.
Q: How secure are the containers while on my property?
A: Each container door is constructed with multiple latch positions. You secure one latch with your own lock, meaning you are the only one that has access to the container. No employee will ever
ask for the key or combination to your lock.
Q: What’s the best place to put my container(s)?
A: Our containers can be placed in a location that’s convenient for loading and unloading. They can be delivered anywhere a car can be parked (most parking spaces will accommodate up to two 5’x8’ containers) or most any flat surface on your property. The containers sit about 4 inches off the ground to protect your belongings from unexpected bad weather.
Q: How many containers will I need?
A: Use our Container Estimator. Or call a Storage Valet representative at 1-877-79VALET (798-2538) to assist you in estimating the number of containers you will need. If you end up getting more than you need, we will pick up the unused container(s) and credit you back the full cost.
Q: How much time to I have to load my container(s)?
A: The beauty of Storage Valet is that you can load your container at your own pace, on your own schedule. We give customers up to 7 days to load and unload their belongings.

Q: Can Storage Valet help me load my container(s)?
A: Storage Valet does not provide this service. However, we can refer you to one of our packing company affiliates if you need one. Just ask one of our representatives for more information.

Q: What makes you different than conventional self-storage?
A: With mobile storage, you eliminate a lot of the worries associated with conventional self-storage. Our containers are made of wood which allows everything to breathe. In addition we store them in a large indoor facility which gives your belongings double protection – inside your container, inside our secure facility.
Q: Can I get to my container(s) if I need to?
A: We offer free access to all customers as long as your account is paid in full. Call us two hours in advance and we will get everything set up for you.
